HEALTH ALERT!

I am sure you are all aware that Strep throat is going around the schools and other groups in Anna and surrounding areas.  It has come to our attention that a member of The Crossroads was diagnosed with a strain of strep throat this past week.  The incubation period for strep throat is 7-10 days.  Anyone exposed during the incubation period and the first 24 hours after treatment are at the highest risk of becoming ill.  We have consulted with a church member who is a medical professional who has advised that we watch our family members and seek immediate medical attention if any signs of strep and/or fever are present.  We love you all and are praying that everyone remains healthy.

• Mild body aches

• Runny nose

• Low-grade fever (less than 102°F)
